Forward Medical is a privately owned clinic, and we strive to provide the best possible service to our patients. The costs associated with the running of our clinic are not covered by the government, hence the quality medical care we offer is reflected in our fees. All patients will be required to pay a gap fee for consultations (between $50.15 to $80.85 , depending on the length of time spent with the doctor and/or time spent on note taking after consult has finished), with the exception of children under the age of 16. Concession card holders will also be offered a discounted rate. We will instantly process your Medicare claim for you, after which you will receive the rebate directly into your bank account.

For more information, please see our fees page.

We thank you for your understanding and support with this.

All overseas Bupa card holders will be required to pay a gap fee for face-to-face appointments (phone consult fees differ) upfront on the day of their consultation, varying from $50.15 to $80.85.

**Please note there are additional charges for "after hours" consultations, including on Saturdays after 1:00pm**

Please note that we will charge a cancellation/no show fee of $42.85 for patients who fail to cancel at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time. Your understanding is appreciated as this is to ensure the appointment can be offered to another patient in a timely manner.

Please contact our friendly staff for more information.

In an emergency situation, please dial 000 immediately. For urgent after hours medical attention, contact the National Home Doctor Service on 137 425.

Patients can book an appointment online by clicking the link above, or alternatively phone our clinic on  08 8359 2776. Please note that if you require a longer appointment for any reason, you will need to notify us.

Wait times for appointments can vary due to our triage policy. If an urgent case presents at our clinic and requires immediate attention by one of our doctors this may cause a delay. We thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.

A long appointment will need to be booked under certain circumstances including:

. Skin cancer checks

. Skin lesion biopsy/excision

. IUD/Implanon insertion/removal

. Pregnancy-related consultations

. Immunisations for children under 6 years old

. Mental health related concerns

. Complex medical concerns

. Return to Work SA certificate/consultation

We do ask that new patients please arrive 10 minutes early in order to fill in paperwork. If you are unable to make your appointment on time or need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible (ideally giving at least 4 hours notice) to allow us to offer time to another patient.
